Love the food and the service! Hardest workers in town!

Good place to get breakfast. Breakfast foods are the only foods that matter anyway.

New to area, church friends recommended I can see why, food excellent we had the best corn beef hash, definitely not our of a can. Service great too. Price's arent bad either. Went one day for lunch the next dor breakfast. Both meals were perfect

We had the german burger, the chili burger and the bacon cheese burger. They were perfectly cooked and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful and did not rush me when I was ordering for my parents and myself. I have been here before and and happy to see the same people working here. We love coming here. Great little diner.

At one time a gas station but later converted into an eatery by Darcy Fonder, her retirement seeing the space suited for at-most forty sold to a former North Dakota Fighting Sioux, guests entering she shabby building will quickly notice just five tables and three booths surrounding the center island, a first come-first served policy often leading to long lines even when the weather turns frigid and in particular on weekends.Featuring a two-sided laminated menu plus several specials, a 6am opening Monday through Friday with slightly later Weekend hours making Darcy's the top spot in Grand Forks for all-day Breakfast, it was passing over Soup and humongous Sandwiches that eyes focused squarely on Pancakes, the bottomless 99cent Coffee as good as the $2.49 stuff in Cafes elsewhere and always piping hot

Food and atmosphere is amazing! Cinnamon roll pancakes are a must. The wait for food though is a little long, probably about 45 minutes from when we placed our order till getting the food.

Very tasty breakfast! The ham was more like a ham steak, very generous indeed. Mine was bacon and eggs with hashbrowns. Nice, thick bacon, really good hashbrowns. Coffee was not good in any way. Too bad, this could have been 5 stars. We love local, unpretentious places. But the coffee won't dissuade me from returning if I am in town at breakfast time!

Friendly helpful waitress, large potions, small amount of seating, had to ask for coffee refills, bathroom not very clean, eggs cooked as ordered.

It's food that's ok, just a quaint place, nothing spectacular.

Darcy's is always...ALWAYS the right choice to dine. Between the generously portioned breakfasts/lunch specials and the hand-pattied burgers, you always leave happy and with a full belly. Prices are great too.

This is a great hole-in-the-wall cafe where the locals hang out. It was nearly packed by the time I arrived at 6:15. The door was unique but very good. Overall a great dining experience.

I love this small town cafe. It might take a minute to get seated but it's well worth the wait. You won't be disappointed

Better than your grandma's, as good as your mom's is true at Darcy's! I took my dad here for the first time. He loved the German sausage! Some sites like yelp mention this places opens at 8am, this is untrue! It opens at 6 on weekdays! We popped in around 7:45 and had no trouble finding a seat. I am and will continue to be a repeat customer!

Pure and simple diner food. No fuss which is excellent for anyone who is busy working and looking for a quick bite,, but also reminds me of eating with my grandparents at their local small town diner. Walk in, sit down, and enjoy.

Don't see what all the fuss is about? Crowded, rushed and they think they're serving you as a task, as they always have more people waiting. Better hurry and give up your seat.For the price it is nothing to write home about.

Was described to us as “good hometown place you gotta visit.” Yep. 100%. This isn’t your chain place. This is a nice local breakfast where the food is the best and you feel like home. There’s a reason there will be a line out the door and, yes, it’s worth the wait. Everything’s great, but you have to try the cinnamon roll pancakes. They will melt in your mouth.

Phenomenal food. Even better service. A true gem of an establishment. What a hard working team.

Pretty sure the staff here is not too found of POC. One of my friends loves to go here and I would go with him from time to time but I have never had a good experience with the waitresses. I thought maybe they just automatically decided they didnt like me because I was wearing a baseball cap the first time so I tried going looking "professional" the next few times and still got singled out. Spoke with some other POC and found that they had similar experiences with this place. If you look like them I'm sure you'll get decent service but if you look different be sure to wear your tapping shoes 🤠

The only place I'd take my mom for breakfast. She deserves the best.

Outstanding food and service. Darcy’s is a Must! Breakfast or lunch, this home cooking cafe is a Gem. Whether you are local, visiting or traveling through Grand Forks North Dakota or Minnesota make time to have a meal at Darcy's. If there is a line, it is well worth the wait!

Darcy's cafe was phenomenal. I was with a man I admire and love. His gentle voice and demeanor slows my brain down. This man has experienced loss to the likes that I have never seen or felt. I am just so grateful for him to take time and invest it into me. The veggie omelette was soft and fluffy. I knew as I ate each bite that before the foundations of the world, it had been decided that I would be there at that exact time, and for that I am greatful. Not long ago I wouldn't even walk into a restaurant because I hated people and suffered from extreme paranoia. Today, I can walk in as a child and a man. THANK YOU GRAND FORKS, ND. Lastly, I really enjoyed my rye toast with the strawberry jelly on it. Beautiful staff at Darcy's. I feel safe there. Have a great day.

First time eating there and the food was fantastic. I'll definitely be going there again.
